As a member of the CSA, I will receive a weekly share of in-season organically grown produce. The shares will vary in size and weight depending on the time of the season and will also include herbs and seasonal fruits. One aspect of a CSA is that members support their farmer by sharing in the inherent risks of agriculture (poor weather, drought, disease, early frost, crop failure, etc.) and rewards (the bounty of a good season). CSA farmers purposely plan for such contingencies and use growing techniques that protect the harvest, minimize risk to members, and optimize the rewards by growing a wide variety of crops that thrive in different types of conditions, cover cropping, crop rotation and irrigation. Therefore, I understand there is no guarantee on the exact amount or type of produce I will receive in my share. By participating in this CSA, I am supporting the local farmer (Blooming Hill Farm) as well as a more equitable food distribution system; I am helping to create a more environmentally just, economically fair, and healthy society.

I commit to picking up my weekly delivery at Greenwood Lake Yoga between 2:00pm and 6:00pm on Wednesdays. I may make special arrangements for my share to be picked up in my absence. I understand that if I do not pick up my share, it may be donated to the a local food charity. Pickup times may be subject to change due to COVID19.

I understand that Greenwood Lake CSA is hosted at Greenwood Lake Yoga LLC, who has generously offered to process credit cards and accept payments on the CSA’s behalf. I agree to hold harmless Greenwood Lake Yoga LLC in all CSA dealings. All proceeds directly support the farmer and cover the cost of materials and credit card fees. Refunds must be sought from the farm directly.
